Double your fun with Half.com’s new ads

Half.com has come a long way since it renamed that Oregon town back in 1999. The e-tailer, now part of eBay, has posted some funny new animated shorts from BBDO online. Done in a ’50s educational style, the films follow the misadventures of college kids who’ve bought too many math, history and political-science books on Half.com (blame the low prices) and have become unbearable social misfits in need of wedgies. Stalin’s cameo in the history video is particularly amusing.
