Stanley Steemer battles itchy dog butts
Carpet-cleaning company Stanley Steemer will not be accused of being overly sophisticated with this TV commercial, in which a dog sparks outrage with his new “trick” of dragging his hindquarters across a family’s beige carpeting. It’s not clear how they got the dog to do this on camera (maybe he actually has worms), or whether he was harmed during filming. |

It would be funnier if the acting was better and the dialog wasn't so boring.

It's not worms.
When a dog scoots its butt on the floor, it usually needs to have its anal sacs "expressed" — meaning a veterinary technician squeezes some goop out of its anal glands. This happens to dogs all the time and is easily rectifiable.

Huh huh, rectifiable.

This carpet cleaning commercial is pretty funny. But they don't say Stanley Steemer can repair pet odor problems. FiberCare Carpet Cleaning guarantees all their pet odor elimination services 100% in El Paso Texas.
