Taco Bell gets all cheesy, beefy and melty
In its newest commercial, Taco Bell embraces a fairly unorthodox tactic as it attempts to work up our collective appetite: It shows lots of people with grody, stringy cheese hanging out of their mouths. (This is apparently the “yum” they refer to in the parent company’s name, Yum! Brands.) The Grim Reaper makes a humorous, unexplained cameo in the middle of the spot, perhaps subtly warning us against eating too much of this cheesy, beefy stuff. You just never know which Fourth Meal might be your last. |

This spot wasn't half bad. I saw it during one of the games yesterday and chuckled a bit.
Although, it would have been better to have to teams are kinda real (not the usually generic ones). Damn you copyright laws!

Amazing. Either the Taco Bell marketing types are asleep at the wheel and their ad agency put one over on them big time or they have finally decided to go the "truth in advertising" route. Here's a balding, middle aged white guy, well on the road to an early grave from eating too often at Taco Bell, sharing a cheesy, beefy moment with the Grip Reaper, who is obviously going to at least wait until he has finished his own cheesy, beefy melt before lowering the blade, eviscerating his mark and performing a quick, cardiac autopsy. How did the Taco Bell people EVER allow this to get on TV. They must all be having senior moments.

I think this is the most disgusting commercial ever. It certainly doesn't make me want to run out and buy a cheesy whatever those things are. Who comes up with this crap anyway? Everyone I know that has seen this ad says the same thing. it totally grosses them out.
