Being green ain’t easy, but it can be funny
TDA Advertising’s first print and online work for nonprofit 1% For The Planet takes a tongue-in-cheek hard-line stance on environmental protection. Click here to see a larger version of this ad. A second ad, which you can see here, reads, “If the dolphins are so smart, they should start a small business and save themselves.” 1% For The Planet asks member companies to pledge 1% of sales to the organization, and in turn asks consumers to support those companies. The ads are a breath of fresh air (groan) in the often overly serious green-marketing category. Though I wish those birds in the park outside would stop making such a racket, and I resent having to clean out my new boss’s tank twice a day.
