Droga5 putting the honeys in Honeyshed

Honeyshed_2 There are worse strategies, to be sure, than using hot girls to sell thongs. Droga5’s highly anticipated branded entertainment channel Honeyshed has launched. (Read a primer here.) The first segment I saw this morning: two leggy model types discuss the virtues of “disposable panties.” Va-va-voom. (Oddly enough, there was a dog running around the set. That wasn’t explained.) Should you be interested, one click adds the disposable panties to “My Stash.” There’s also a live chat feature. A sample transcript during the undies show: “user25: this is insane; user26: this video thats playing is iving me a headache; user26: the online talent needs some work.” The advertising revolution will be webcast!

I have no problem with attractive woman trying to sell me things. I do have problems with interfaces that I can't figure out, as well as wrestling with the meaning of a "stash". Not to mention that it took me all morning to figure out how to actually buy something.

But yes, the women were attractive. I wonder if the one I spoke to on the phone was one of them... she was very nice, but had no idea how the site actually worked.

Pretty little things but dumb as bricks. Was quite pleased that they included the gay African American. i'll be interested to see how they do.

Huge waste of money and what appears little effort on Droga5's part. This is a terribly difficult site to navigate, which should be the most simple of things to do at this point. It also looks terrible.
