PC, Mac get swept up in campaign season

Mac_2 As much as I’d like to rant about the three new “Buy a Mac” ads, “Podium,” “Boxer” and “PR Lady,” I can’t—because they’re actually good. I didn’t laugh out loud like the good people at TUAW did, but “Podium” is pretty funny and an effective damning of Microsoft’s demands that its customers work around its products’ various failings. Of course, Apple’s new Leopard system has some of the same kinds of bugs that Vista users have been experiencing. But don’t expect to hear that in Apple’s stump speech.
