what is really sad about this is that whatever agency was hired for this probably had some really cool slogans / ideas. But the committee that had final approval, I'm assuming the government of Scotland, there was probably a lot of people they had to please and "Welcome to SCOTLAND" was the only one they all agreed on.
I hate "design by committee"

Anthony is right. No way did they come to the table with that crap.
I'd like to see the list rejected by the Committee of Pussies who voted this one in.

Poor devil! see him owre his trash,
As feckles as wither'd rash,
His spindle shank, a guid whip-lash;
His nieve a nit;
Thro' blody flood or field to dash,
O how unfit!

It's times like these when we can be glad that "Crazy People" was finally released on DVD for a new generation to see.
Hello. Welcome to Scotland, hello how ya doing.

What a squandered opportunity.
I'll plus the work...
"Welcome to Scotland. Everuthing else is Crap."

At least the previous slogan had a positive message, "best," about the place.

I'm guessing that's the Scottish flag above the slogan. But it looks an awful lot like a "Do not enter" sign. If it were, it would make the line much better, don't you think?

ConneryPrebond.jpg, I am sure would attract a lot of tourists.
BTW, I pitch "Visit Scatland" to go with that pic.
