Third act is very 2.0 for Danny Bonaduce

Danny CBS Mobile’s first original animated series features Danny Bonaduce (why not?), who will serve as a “life coach” in eight animated episodes set to premiere Nov. 12 on CBS’s mobile network and on CBS.com. The show takes a tongue-in-cheek approach, which is understandable given the former child star’s well-chronicled ups and down since his ’70s Partridge Family heyday. His alter ego from that era, faux bass guitarist Danny Partridge, was rarely at a loss when quippy advice and zippy one-liners were called for. Many of Danny’s best lines seem to resonate for the middle-aged Bonaduce, notably, “I’ve been a kid, and I’ve been an adult. And believe me, adultery isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.” The stirring, “You can’t blame me. I’m just a kid” could sum up the actor’s life both on and off camera. And I’ll play “I Think I Love You” as loud as I want—Phil in the apartment downstairs can lump it.
