The perfect gift: a Taser/MP3 player hybrid

Itaser No one wants to get their ass kicked to a soundtrack, but for the ass-kicker, a little stirring music can provide just the right atmosphere. This must be why Taser International has released a new Taser that doubles as a 1-gigabyte MP3 player. Brilliant! They say the hybrid is partly intended for women, who may be more inclined to take a Taser on a jog with them if it plays music, too. But who are we kidding? Someone over at Taser International has always wanted to zap someone silly while this song surges through their head. Via Mental Floss.

Great idea, women should have the tools they need to defend themselves, specially since not all states allow you to carry a gun and there's plenty of businesses that won't let you enter if you have a gun on you. Nobody should be forced to endure rape or assault just because some people think it's wrong to fight back against criminals.

So what happens when someone mistakenly pushes "Zap" when they meant to push "Play"?

Can anyone say "Lawsuit"?

Seriously, whenever I try to electrocute college students asking politicians questions (Don't taz me dude!), I like to set it to music.

ha, it'd be cool if you could set it to say "don't taze me bro!" everytime you zap someone...
