Tip a few cows and then vote for Chris Bosh
Chris Bosh of the Toronto Raptors would love to play in the NBA All Star Game, so he’s begun his own grassroots campaign seeking fan votes. Like many populist appeals, Bosh’s involves a down-home parody of a used-car-dealer commercial. Pay careful attention to his exaggerated drawl, because he’s proud of it. “A lot of people talk like that where I’m from, so I know the slang,” the Texan tells Toronto’s Globe and Mail. If Bosh fails to gain a roster spot, perhaps they could hire him to do the promos instead. —Posted by David Kiefaber |
