If you have to nerd out, do it with friends
Given how much online gaming has cut into tabletop, pen-and-paper role-playing's profit margins, it's only natural that Dungeons and Dragons would fight back with an ad like this. (The ad is from a couple years ago—see the full image here.) It’s a funny blow struck in a generally annoying nerd argument, the likes of which hasn’t been seen since the Dream Theater vs. Dragonforce debate. And it makes a good point. If you want to kill Orcs with your friends, why not do it together? Just don’t run out of snacks.
