Robert Shapiro 2.0 wants to help you out

Shapiro It's good to know O.J. Simpson defense attorney Robert Shapiro has kept himself busy since the trial finished up in ’95. He co-founded Legal Zoom, which provides law-related document services of some sort, but I was too distracted by “endorsers” Bill O’Reilly and Laura Ingraham to care. Shapiro, O’Reilly and Ingraham? Howard Dean will be spinning in his grave, as news of such a trio’s formation may put him there. Donat/Wald created a handful of Legal Zoom TV spots; they’re described as “heartwarming.” Shapiro is in the ads, but O.J. isn’t, despite his acting triumphs in The Towering Inferno, Hertz commercials and his own murder trial. Other Shapiro clients have included bad-boy (and drug-happy) athletes Jose Canseco and Darryl Strawberry, bad-boy (and trigger-happy) famous son Christian Brando, bad-boy (and allegedly trigger-happy) record producer Phil Spector, and ’70s porn priestess Linda Lovelace (who made lots of guys happy once upon a time). My point: Laura Ingraham’s way less annoying than Ann Coulter.
