Target stabilizes pregnant women's boobs

Craneboobs Judging by this ad from Australia, Target believes pregnant women will appreciate the suggestion that it takes heavy machinery to lift their suddenly giant boobs. I think that’s a little insensitive, but what do I know? I’m one of the few Davids writing for this site who doesn’t wear a bra (how does it feel, Gianatasio?). But I did show this ad to an actual live woman, who said, “Those are not maternity boobs,” then questioned how safe the crane operators were, given the situation. I’m not so worried about them; they have a union. But the patience of that giant woman they’re working on shouldn’t go unheralded. Via Ads of the World.

But is it real or SCAM? Are there Targets in Australia? Do they run big double-page spreads for bras with a teensy-tiny logo on the corner? Or does target follow their own global branding guidelines and always use big logos in their work like they do in the US?

Posting fake ads contributes to the problem and disrespects those making real work. Please check your sources to make sure Target approved this ad before posting it.

I find it hard to believe that Target would approve something this low brow. If they did it's totally off brand for them.

I have a hard time believing the model is even pregnant. If she is, it's a little too early to need the extra support that she didn't need before. Weak execution of a weak concept.

"Maternity bra" doesn't mean what you think it means. Think "lactating bra" and "two years AFTER pregnancy".

It's Target Australia which isn't affiliated with Target in the U.S.
