Goodyear can make women better drivers

In the 2000s, we have terrorism. In the '90s, we had gangsta rap. In the '80s, we had AIDS. And in the '70s, the thing that scared us the most was ... women drivers. This ridiculous ad premiered during the first-ever Monday Night Football broadcast, so people actually saw it. Like, a lot of people, all at once. You can’t blame the woman for having to detour through an unpaved road, so the ad doesn’t even explain how Goodyear tires protect against bad driving. This ad sucks. I bet a woman made it.

Umm, maybe this is a dumb comment, 'cause you were just joshing with us and you knew it all along, but David, the commercial was trying to make us afraid _for_, not _of_, the woman driver.

I second the previous comment - this ad's about protecting your wimpy wife from scary roads, not protecting roads from your scary wife.

Kinda misogynist either way.
