The 50 greatest commercial parodies ever Nerve has put together its picks for the 50 greatest commercial parodies of all time. Lots of them, including No. 1, come from Saturday Night Live, which Nerve says “ripped the genre wide open” with its 1975 debut. Until they find a way to diss the Axe ads in some way, they have failed in their mission...and I still say they should have included the hillarious but controversial (and banned) Colt 45 parody from "in living color" that one still makes me do spittakes...people need to grow up sometimes.
