Fear my copywriter's +2 Pen of Sassmouth

Clientcard_2 In the dubious category of ad-industry humor, career stereotyping is a timeless classic. In that vein, you have to appreciate the Creative Beef blog’s proposal for a massively multiplayer game called World of Advertising. Each “character class,” like Art Director or Producer, comes equipped with certain inherent strengths and weaknesses. For example, the Account Executive has the power of “grown-up wardrobe” but is hobbled by weak spots like “afraid of client” and “you’re in it for life.” It’s telling that the Client is portrayed as an invincible monster, although Media Buyer still seems to get the worst of it by being “exiled to unpopular floor/section of agency.” Via Dear Jane Sample.
