Gay kiss unnerves U.K. mayonnaise eaters

Heinz America is by no means alone in its reactionary homophobia. England's response to this ad for Heinz Deli Mayo puts them in step with us, for sure. The ad is “one of the most complained about commercials this year,” mostly because British parents are skittish about explaining same-sex relationships to their children. Which is odd, because you’d think any country responsible for this guy would know how to handle this situation.

Maybe, the freaks that complained, numbered 200, while those that objected to the ad being pulled were so numerous they crashed the Heinz website!

What a delightful slice of life advert! It seems completely 'believable' and sweet to me.

Besides, the kids were out the door before the couple kissed goodbye.

Odd that there is no hue and cry for every jewelry, couples resort or cruise PDA. Times...they are a-changin'.
