Get the creativity flowing with Moodstream

Moodstream The Barbarian Group just launched Moodstream, a new interactive Web site for Getty Images, because, as the site says, “Any mood can take you places.” It’s billed as a “concepting tool” designed to foster creativity among ad-industry creatives. You adjust sliders to add still images, video and sound (all from Getty) to suit you mood—or change your mood. No matter what I tried, I couldn’t find that new Converse promo track. “Sad,” “calm,” “serious,” “contemporary” and “cool” produced a slow country tune with images of lonely highways. “Happy,” “lively,” “humorous,” “nostalgic” and “warm” yielded big-band swing and what looked like snapshots from Oceanside family vacations. The combination reminded me of that time my mom left me alone on the beach with a radio blaring Tammy Wynette. Thanks, Getty Images!
