It's 5th meal at Denny's.
Take that, Taco Bell.

Alt rock? MTV wannabes? Was this strategy conceived in the 90s?

Oh, come on! Denny's and a few pots of coffee have always been the best way to sober up after the bars close.

i highly doubt that you will find any MTV wannabes working the graveyard shift at Denny's. and i am wondering what kind of society you exist in that the Denny's late night appeal has gotten you all out of whack. I used to go to Denny's and drool on toast, searching for the slightest bit of satiety, at 3 am during my freshman year of college...like 10 whole years ago. you know what...i bet they have wifi too. what is this world coming to?

LOL - this is 10 years too late for me! My friends and I used to always go to Denny's after going out since it was one of the few places open late.

10 years too late is about right. We used to pack Denny's out every night. 30, sometimes 50 of us just took up space for several hours at a time over the course of many years. Maybe 6 of us bought something consistently. It's no wonder our favorite Denny's closed down. Better music and ambiance would've only kept us there longer and in greater numbers.
