political satire... thats pretty normal in the rest of the "free world". Where are we going to end... everything has to be rosy, pink, non offensive, and just plain boring. Just remember when you are walking down the street and somebody trips and falls...thats funny, unfortunate but funny, when they stumble its not even memorable, and that is just reality.

my problem is that it's a lousy new yorker cover. by all means do political satire, just make it funny. it's not funny.

He gets satire, as does most educated Americans. I don't think those are the people he is concerned with seeing this.
