Obama, McCain and the pop-culture wars
The flurry of press regarding Barack Obama and John McCain's pop-culture preferences yielded some interesting tidbits. McCain says his wife Cindy "foolishly ... continues to try to assert her control over the remote." So yeah, his wife is a fool. Obama, meanwhile, says he's "not home a lot, so Michelle is usually willing to give it up." Meaning the remote. The candidates share an affinity for Seinfeld, The Wire (oddly enough) and Curb Your Enthusiasm, so Larry David could be a dark-horse vice-presidential pick either way. Just don't expect to see many campaign ads on Oxygen anytime soon.
