Security software will get medieval on youThis Duffy & Shanley ad for computer security firm Kaspersky Lab promises "a whole new level of security unlike anything you've known before. A system so intelligent it actually knows what's good, what's bad and what to keep a close watch on." Oh. My. God. HAL 9000's moving in to police the office hardware! I, for one, will be watching my own computer habits more closely. No more lurking during lunch hours. (I know what you're saying about me on your "walls," by the way!). So long, naked celebrities. Farewell, firearms forums. Bye-bye, bit torrents. Delete browsing history, clear cache, trash cookies, drown hard drive in battery acid. There, now I feel safe. —Posted by David Gianatasio |
