The not-so New Kids are back on the blockSuper '80s boy band New Kids on the Block are back with their first new album in 15 years. The Block dropped last week, landing at No. 2 on the Billboard charts overall and No. 1 on the Billboard pop charts. Clearly, the fans are eating it up, and they're the sort of people who still buy CDs. Personally, I adore comebacks. Everyone should have one. The PR shenanigans are just so beautifully awkward to watch. This week, NKOTB have a new video out, are featured on AOL Sessions, and have a 90-minute special with VH1 planned. As a result, I've just discovered I still know all the songs by heart. But will I succumb to nostalgia and buy the new album? Damn it, Donnie Wahlberg, I just don't know if we can go through this again! It's been such a long time, and since we broke up, I found a much hotter guy to obsess over. You may know him … his name is Mark. —Posted by Rebecca Cullers |

They violated the principle of Menudo. You can't have a boy band when your fans are 30-year-old women.

I heard they had to cancel an appearance because one of the Kids needed prostate surgery.
