The Christian right might not like this spotAh,
those wacky, progressive Swedes. The Stockholm-based fashion house
Bjorn Borg, which makes clothing, shoes, eyeglasses and such, has
released a commercial in which two male priests are married in a church by a female priest.
At one point, the men of the cloth swap some spit. The theme of the
campaign is "Love for all." The swingin' firm has launched a dating
site (I'm guessing Anna Kournikova's not using it) and plans to
introduce "Lucky Underwear" in the near future. The impious effort
comes as the company's namesake is generating some press by playing in big-money exhibitions
in Asia this week with '80s nemesis John McEnroe and current racquet
kings Roger Federer and James Blake. None of them smooched after their
matches, in case you were wondering. Also, since I'm almost certainly
going to hell just for watching the spot, I'd like to add one more
thing: That lady priest is kinda hot. |

Amazing ad! Lets hope that Bjorn Borg will not end up pulling this ad in response to various hate groups complaints.

Björn Borg is Swedish. We have a dating show for farmers (reality show) where a gay man is currently "competing", housing 4 other gay men vying for his attention.
No backlash. Let's just say I don't think Björn gives a rat's ass what some bigots might think.

I heard they did an Islamic version? Is that true?

Doubt it, in islam EVERYTHING is sacred, its blasphemous just even translate the Koran into english from Arabic. That's just the way Islam works...what happens in Mosque stays in Mosque. So yeah no.

Borg may be Swedish, but he pays his taxes in Monaco. There are some things he does give a rat's ass about.
Edberg also went into tax exile, the only person in history to seek tax asylum in the UK.
Wilander may have moved to Connecticut, figuring lower taxes there than New Jersey or Malmo.
If the gay farmers win a pile of money on the reality show, they too will go looking for a place to keep it.

The "Christian Right" might be offended? It's more like everybody who is Catholic being offended. The title of this story shows how out of touch you are with mainstream society. You are the one on the fringe, not the other way around.

The Spirit which has been regarded last by Christianity will be first, while the letter and the interpretations of men will be last.
Christians that are veiled by the deluding influence of scripture and that do not get their truth from the Spirit will always reject prophets that get it from the Spirit. The hurricanes, tsunami and many other events were predicted as early as 1993 and even the LA train crash was predicted 13 days prior in order to reach those lost behind a veil of interpretation called Religion.

Couldn't those have been intended to be priests of the Church of Sweden, not Catholic priests?
They don't have gay marriage in Sweden yet, but the Church of Sweden supports its passage.
It could look like a Catholic ceremony, but it could easily be a Swedish one (they might be using the same spot in Sweden).
