Global warming hits home in Brazilian PSA

Brazilian ad agency Ponto de Criacao put together this environmental PSA, which quietly and skillfully dramatizes the problem of climate change. "When you feel it, it's already too late," says the line at the end. As global-warming PSAs go, it's as good as anything Noah Wylie's done.

This doesn't compare with GE's Smart Grid YouTube spot (http://blog.allisinc.com/2009/03/06/ges-combination-of-art-science-and-technology/). While the "playing together" message is simple, the takeaway is anything but innovative, educational or altruist. I don't believe this enhances the GE brand.

What do they want us to do? Turn off the lights, leave all technology behind and migrate to the jungle?

Scientist don't even know WHAT causes global warming...

Change the logo and you’ve got an ad for milk. Milk. Makes a body grow.
