'True Blood' posters stake out new territory

True-blood

This little marketing gimmick out of New Zealand for the TV program True Blood is, by many accounts, more clever than the show itself, which is yet another case of someone falling in love with a goddamned vampire. One would think, what with Anne Rice and Twilight and the Blade movies and such, that people would know how to kill vampires by now. It took what, two or three zombie movies for people to figure out that shooting them in the head killed them, and yet we still need diagrams to show us where the stake should go? As almost obvious as it is, it's still pretty clever and I like it. :D Not enough to bother with the show, but you know...

dunno, i really liked the show (first season aired in the us already)
I also do not think it is in any way comparable to twilight or anything like that, cause it takes a decidedly different approach.
And yeah the ad is nice :)

T'would seem to have been conceptualised by someone who hasn't seen the show. Which makes it clever, but not.
=)

1st season of True Blood was fantastic!

Twilight is to Vampire Lore as Jonas Brothers is to Rock n' Roll.
