Schick Quattro helps women trim the bush

Commercials often use obtuse metaphors and bizarre analogies in the hopes of selling an otherwise boring product. So, you have to appreciate an ad like this Schick Quattro for Women spot, which doesn't really beat around the bush. Yeah, I said it. UPDATE: The spot below is even more straightforward.

this commercial is offensive because it looks like it's targeted for 7 year olds, not women.

Who is the ad agency behind the commercial?

I am female. I thought it was funny. What is offensive is that women actually feel they need to have hairless vaginas.

Why does the UK get all the good ads??

Posted by: Sara | Apr 6, 2009 1:39:29 PM

Wow, the 2nd ad was pretty racist--what with the black woman talking about how "big" the problem can be and the Asian woman trimming a fricking bonsai (excuse me if I spelled it wrong) tree.

Still, it made me giggle. Geeze, what does that say about me?

Did anyone else catch that the cat at the end of the 2nd ad was shaved? LOL.

"so all that's left for me to see are tulips..." tulips. two lips. genius! haha

i think it's a funny ad. i'm a woman and i'm not offended.

I saw this and thought, "what ignorant man came up with this?" The "bush" reference is so blatant it's vulgar. As a woman, I was highly offended.
