A great beer ad, without the massive budget
Inspired by (or in her words, "obsessed with") the new Budweiser spot "All Together Now" below, advertising student Diana Mella created the version above. While the original is a commendably choreographed and ingenious spot, there's something even more charming about Diana's version. Maybe it's because she's better at evoking the true spirit of the Beatles song, covered here by the Hours. Maybe it's because she shows that quirky cleverness can compete with even the biggest budgets. Or maybe it's just because she does a better job selling beer. —Posted by David Griner |

The original one is ten thousand times more clever.

About the original one: it's great and fun to watch but insanely lazy. Put any brand at the end and you have a verizon/apple/xbox live/ etc spot. And all of those brands would make a lot more sense for the concept than Budweiser.

Yeah, I think "Oat Soda" makes the point I probably should have fleshed out better. I didn't really want to trash on the original, but it is just one of those overproduced spectacles that could end with a logo of your choosing. If the concept is coming together under the banners of beer and friendship, I think hers is simply more effective.
And let's not go wasting the #davidgrinerfail hashtag. I'm sure I haven't even scratched the surface of my potential for public stupidity.

that is commendably correographed. there's not as much of the delicate allure in the video Narragansett's putting out, but it's clever how they tried to hitch on to the "Beer Summit".
It's also remarkable how well their tactic - dropping beer on Gates' porch - fit with the video
