New KGB ads turn to stereotypes and sex

Info-by-text service KGB has a new line of commercials that range from the arguably racist spot shown above to the sophomoric (“Melons”) to the just plain stupid (“Bet Your Skirt”). Moreover, I'm not sure I'd trust what they told me, given their namesake's penchant for spreading disinformation. But based on what we see here, Russian counter-intelligence might be a step up.

I wouldn't use the word racist here. We throw that word around too much these days. Stereotypical, lame, hackneyed, expected perhaps even prejudiced in it's appointments of responses and actions. The entire campaign seems to seek attention through negative press or something. I wonder who they haven't offended. What's with the half naked woman at the end? isn't the guy in the skirt enough?

Nothing wrong here. It's humorous.

That theme sounds almost exactly like the Sears Appliance Team theme, or whatever they call themselves.
