Apple fan strikes back at Verizon Droid spot

It was inevitable. The Verizon Droid spoof of an Apple commercial (below) has now been spoofed by an Apple fanboy in the video above. It just changes the copy with jabs about ripping off Apple and the interesting claim that "iDon't buy from brands that bash other brands." This makes my head hurt. We can only hope a Droid supporter doesn't spoof the spoof of the spoof. A hole might open in the universe. Via the WSJ's Digits blog.

Uh.. "iDon't buy from brands that bash other brands"? Apple bashes Microsoft like its their job.

I agree Jon and Brian, not buying from a brand that bashes others means not buying from Apple. But maybe if you just try hard enough, you can believe away Apple’s rival brand bashing.

Uhm? wouldn't that not buying from Apple? Who's entire advertising campaign for years now is bashing Windows and PCs in general?

Come on. immediately after "iDon't buy from brands that bash other brands", it cuts to to a windows bashing ad, and then to "i... oops".

Are we really going to get caught up on 'i don't buy from brands that bash other brands', when the spoof spot immediately concedes that apple does, in fact, rip on microsoft?

OOooooh....I didn't get it at first. CWise is smarter than all of us, but beyond the very obvious spoof it wasn't very funny.

People are expecting a spoof of this spoof soon. But the difference is the Apple fans will do this out of passion, and that is unlikely to happen from the "other" side.
