according to this cheerleaders earn $749.93 for a full season

I know this is supposed to be a cutesy-pie joke but seeing it I think of the tens of millions GE just wasted in firing or reassigning two unfunny comics, or its admission it's shredding money on the Olympics, or Time Warner's reported $77 million writedown of a CBS crime drama, and I'm not laughing. Companies pay $3 million for their CEOs' tickets, all so they can indulge in their megalomania, boasting in luxury suites at the game and hectoring the help for months after; the ads themselves are window dressing, and selling a product is irrelevant. Tack on what other corporate sugar daddies waste on junk television and it's money burned, money that could pay the salaries of people who do more than sit on their duffs all day staring at spreadsheets and mouthing buzzwords. No, I'm not laughing. I resent it.

That is a poor citation for Joe Buck. I do appreciate the humor though :)

So many injustices and greed in the world. This is why Jesus said "the poor you will always have with you..."

"A full years wages for 6,500 Hatians"

2.6 million dollars...now imagine there was no earthquake in haiti...don't you think that money could've helped a load of americans in this crisis, like the millions of americans living on day to day food stamps? i get that certain people earn certain amounts of money, but 30 seconds of advertising isn't worth all that money

That would be cool if a company bought 921 tickets to the game and gave them away to randomly chosen deserving individuals.
