@Jkretch created a monster
Little did Jordan Kretchmer, aka @Jkretch, know what he was signing up for when he threw open The Current Network's RFP to Twittering agencies. While Kretchmer said the outpouring of responses gratified him, he also admitted some have gone overboard. He wouldn't name names, but it's hard to think anyone would enjoy having dozens of the same @ messages directed their way, not to mention having a dude stand outside their office window holding a sign. What's more, even though the deadline for submissions came and went, Kretchmer is still getting deluged. Today he posted a polite request for one shop to cease and desist a "retweet campaign" that was bombarding him with messages. What a peculiar way for a shop to show off its social-media savvy. In the end, 17 shops were chosen to get the TwitteRFP. Odds are the selection process won't be as open going forward, so maybe @Jkretch will get a breather from the Twitter harassment.

interesting issue, the problem is that even if you add dates etc, when some people rt you they remove what they feel is excess information.
a used by date for tweets, would be an interesting idea
